Nihon Buyo



Nihon buyo? it is translation of Japanese for English term Japanese dance. Term " buyo" first time is introduced by culture Tsubouchi Shoy and Fukuchi Genichir? what referring to two big groups danced classic of Japan: mai (??) and odori (??).

Mai is dance accompanied by traditional hymn or music with all part of foot palm which have never been lifted but diseret-seret ( suriashi), although sometime there are also movement jerks foot. movement of Dance can be done by rotating in narrow tight motion space or all podium as motion space. Dance types which pertained into Mai Kagura, Buga, Shiraby shi I am seedling. Odori is dance accompanied by traditional hymn or music of byfoot which can make a move is free is accompanied stomping to release voice, added gesticulating adapted for by music rhythm. Nenbutsu Odori and Bon Odori is example of Japan dance so-called Odori.
