One of fitur from dance characteristic Odissi is Tribhangi. Concept Tribhang divides body to become three parts, head, bosom, and torso. Every position related to three element is called as tribhangi. This thing has made a real concept typical of poses which more than contorted is found in other classic dance India.
Mudras which also important. Term Mudra means " brand" and is position of hand indicating something. Usage of mudras assists sending a story in the same way with Hula from Hawaii.
THEME
Theme that is almost entirely Odissi is religion in nature. They very often shifts around Krishna. Though religious service from Krishna is found in all Indonesia, there is local theme emphasized. The Ashtapadi from Jayadev is a real theme public.
